This silent amateur film consists of a series of segments from the early 1930's showing various outdoor recreational activities at the Barre [Vermont] Recreation Field. Featured are: building a toboggan run, ice skating, luge sledding, the first recreation field, dredging a swimming hole, close footage of football, baseball, swimming, and gymnastics. Footage also shows men, women and children in swim suits of the day, women playing tennis in full length dresses and marching bands. The final shot is of a white goat. Cameraman is assumed to be George S. Tucker, using the camera that belonged to the photographer Lawrence Campbell.
